There and back again

So I’ve set up this blog again. Which might seems strange looking at how many times I’ve blogged, removed, blogged again, removed, … without finding any way to really “get it”. Most of it had to do with the division between my professional and personal life that happened in the past, searching my way wasn’t easy so I went here and there. There was also always a language problem, with French being my primary language, but most of my missions, readings and so forth were all in English, hence some difficulties in choosing in what language I was supposed to blog.

Fast forward to 2017, I’m more at ease with English, especially because everything I’ve read for a long time in terms of personal development, growth and life improvements are all in English, thus saving me the trouble to translate everything I want to talk about all the time. My English is not perfect, but I think that writing will help me improve it.

Why blogging again?

For more than one month and half, I’m keeping morning pages every day to empty my head and thoughts, but this pushed me to write again. I wanted to share things, thoughts, but also experiments I was leading with my life, but didn’t want to be locked down in a proprietary platform like Medium (especially while it’s ongoing some troubles). So I wanted a repository where I could input every content I wanted without feeling forced to go in one precise direction (like I have to do on my work related website).  I wanted to create a safe space where I could express my thoughts, ideas, but also experiments, readings, and eventually get feedback.

So here we go again (mamma mia), I’ll try to keep some rhythm in the publications, in the hope of forming quite an habit and improve my writing, we’ll see what it looks like !
